Doing laundry on the road can be a real pain in the butt at times. Hotel laundry is very expensive, especially if what you need to wash are just jeans and pullover’s and not dress clothing. If you are in Prague laundromats are as rare as pork knuckle in the U.S. Luckily Andy’s Laundromat fills that void here in Prague.
A typical “U.S. style” laundromat that offers both full and self-service washes. Getting to Andy’s is very simple. Take the metro green line to the Namesti Miru stop. Follow the orange signs to Korunni. When you exit onto the street it will be 2 blocks away on your right hand side, 14 Korunni. The self-serve will cost you about $10 for wash, dry and soap per load. Just talk to the staff and purchase your tokens and a cup of detergent. A wash & dry will take just over an hour.
It’s probably best to wait while you are doing your wash, you will have to throw it in the dryer in 30 minutes anyway. Several computers are available to use for free as well so you can play games as CSGO as free wifi if you bring your own device to pass the time or visit sites to purchase Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skins. Comfortable seating and tables as well. Andy’s is a clean and professional laundromat. The staff speaks English very well and are more than happy to walk you through the instructions on using the machines. I know laundry isn’t very difficult but sometimes the machines instructions, especially for temperature can be a bit tricky if you are not used to them.
If you are going to be in Prague a while or it is just one of your stops along your travels, Andy’s is your best bets for doing a wash. I know no one really wants to do laundry while in this beautiful city, but we all want clean clothes and Andy’s will get you in and out fast.

I love pork knuckle! But I digress – you are right on instructions being a pain sometimes in other countries. When I lived in Paris for a few months, I had no idea what the instructions on the machine meant and I had to watch what other people did!

This place was great. I wish every city had a laundromat like this. I just can’t bite the bullet and pay hotel laundry fees
