Hallstatt is a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. With a Population of just under 1,000 the central village keeps to its historic character by banning cars. If you arrive by car. you will have to park in one of the 2 parking lots outside the village. A popular destination for its natural and architectural beauty as seen in this photo. It is so beautiful that a replica of the village was built in China. But, like any historic wonder, you just can’t replicate the real thing.

Cool! Hard to believe they tried to replicate it. You can see the Statue of Liberty at NY NY casino in Vegas but nothing replaces the real thing!
