The TSA 1 Quart Bag
We all have to do it. Find miniature toothpaste tubes, tiny shaving cream cans and everything thing else we need to carry on in a 3 ounce sized bottle. It’s a pain but if you want to travel strictly carry on we find a way. Once we have found all our mini sized toiletries we head down to the kitchen and find the 1 quart zip-lock bag and stuff it all in there hoping it doesn’t burst at the seams. If you are a bearded type and traveling, this website http://beardcareshop.com/Wahl-9918-6171/ will show you some modern ways of going about with the least trouble.
Nobody wants to send there little baggy through the scanner machines in the security line and see it rip open as we pull it from our bag to the tray. There goes that tube of hemorrhoid cream, as it falls at the feet of the rather attractive person in line behind you, bummer! Or whatever embarrassing ointment or cream you would rather not have anyone seeing. Well, I finally moved on from the toss-away 1 quart bags and picked up a real travel one from Lewis N Clark.
What’s to say? It is still see through but that is a requirement. The plastic is thicker and the zipper doesn’t feel like it will split open if you stuff one more item inside. I have packed, repacked and sent it through the scanner probably two dozen times now and it still is holding up well. I picked it up from Amazon for about $7 with free shipping. So if your “gladbag” has seen better days and you want to try something a bit more durable give it a try. Next flight you won’t be the person picking up your scattered miniatures from the floor while everyone looks on at your personable’s.
